ABOUT ACTIVATED SUPER SOIL:
Organic super soil is a living soil growing technique made famous by a cannabis farmer that goes by SubCool over 15 years ago.  Since then many farmers have adapted and modified the ingredients to some degree including SubCool.  The concept is part of the organic living soil movement that has turned away from the use of chemical fertilizers and instead look to nature to allow each seed to reach its maximum genetic potential.  When done properly, yields tend to be larger than traditional soil and, in some cases, even hydroponics, but nothing comes close to Organic Super Soil when it comes to taste and quality.

This Super Soil Concentrate is the SubCool formula with a few added ingredients (fillet, added microorganisms), all you need to do is finish the final step and add organic potting soil (Fox Farm and Roots organic are popular but any organic potting soil will do).  The concentrate has cooked for a minimum of 30 days and is ready for use after the potting soil has been added.  Just follow the instructions in the “Techniques Section”.

 

EACH BAG IS 2 LB

Add the contents of the Organic Super Soil activated formula (1 liter) to 1.5 cu ft (approx 7 lbs) of high-quality organic potting soil and mix thoroughly.

The Organic Super Soil has already “cooked”.  Bags are filled on day of shipping to assure freshness and health of microorganisms.

 

HOW TO USE

Once you have mixed your concentrate and potting soil as described above we suggest using one of the techniques described below.

Super Soil Technique:
add water to our activated soil

Top Feeding:
1. Sprinkle a thin layer of Nutrient Bomb Living Soil concentrate on the top of the soil and water.

Compost Tea:
Add our heaping tablespoons of concentrate and one tablespoon of un-sulfured black-strap molasses per gallon of water and let stand for 24 hours.

Making your own potting soil:
Ingredients:
6 gallons sphagnum peat moss or coir fiber (preferred)
4.5 gallons perlite
6 gallons compost or earthworm castings (preferred)
1 pound Nutrient Bomb Living Soil Concentrate
Mix the ingredients thoroughly

Recycling Your Living Soil
Once you have gone through a growth cycle you can reuse the soil as your base potting mix on the next planting or add another charge pack to start again.

 

HERE IS A LIST OF A TEN THINGS THAT YOU CAN DO WITH ORGANICALLY FED SOIL THAT CANNOT BE ACHIEVED WITH CONVENTIONAL CHEMICAL FEEDING.

1. DECOMPOSE PLANT RESIDUES AND ORGANIC MATTER TO HUMUS.

2. RETAIN NUTRIENTS IN THE FORM OF STABLE HUMUS.

3. COMBINE NITROGEN AND CARBON TO PREVENT NUTRIENT LOSS.

4. SUPPRESS FUNGUS AND BACTERIAL DISEASES.

5. PRODUCE PLANT GROWTH REGULATORS.

6. DEVELOP SOIL STRUCTURE, TILTH, AND WATER PENETRATION/RETENTION.

7. SHIFT SOIL PH TO NEUTRAL AND KEEP IT THERE.

8. SEARCH OUT AND RETRIEVE NUTRIENTS IN DISTANT PARTS OF THE SOIL.

9. CONTROL NITROGEN SUPPLY TO THE PLANTS ACCORDING TO NEED.

10. PULL MINERALS OUT OF INORGANIC SOIL COMPONENTS FOR PLANTS.
